The Oxford University Baking Society was founded in the year of our lord 2022, like most University Societies, by a bunch of students with nothing better to do. Of these, some were born bakers. Some came into baking later in life. And others had simply found nothing better to do over lockdown but partake in the nation's new favourite shortage-creating hobby. One of us developed an inconvenient new hyper fixation in second week of Hilary and nearly gave themself PoTS by eating nothing but flour and sugar for two straight months.
